The Leeton Model Aero Club hosted a fly-in at Brobenah Aerodrome on Saturday, with both pilots and spectators attending.
Conditions were ideal for the event, with Sydney’s Philip Rossi one of those in attendance.
"I have a private pilot's license, but find this to be more fun,” he said. "You can't fly a real plane this way and call it 'a good flight'.
“It's definitely more challenging to fly a radio control aircraft than it is a real plane as you have to 'put yourself in the jet'.
“It's fun to come to Leeton and fly."
"There are so few places you can fly in Sydney. It is nice to come out here and have all this space to fly."
