The organisation held an afternoon tea on Friday at its Leeton office, with proceeds going to the Griffith-Leeton Riding for the Disabled organisation, as well as Kalinda School.
The community fundraising appeal was launched in conjunction with Beyond Bank’s recent announcement of two $10,000 development grants for the organisations.
Allanah Hughes from the Leeton Beyond Bank branch said similar events would be held in the future.
“People can come in and donate whenever they like,” she said. “Other organisations interested in our fundraising should also come in and have a chat with us.”
