Leeton Preschool organised a theatre party to raise funds for Blake and his family on Sunday afternoon.
With Blake and his family in attendance there were smiles all round as about $1200 was raised to assist with his medical costs.
Blake has been diagnosed with enterovirus which has left him with acute flaccid paralysis.
He has recently been released from hospital and started back at preschool one day a week.
“It was a fantastic afternoon and it was really great to see Blake and his family there,” preschool director Marie Jacobsen said.
“He’s doing really well.
“The family will be using that money to assist with their modifications to their house. We wanted to help in whatever way we could … the theatre party was a great idea.”
