The inaugural big hole golf charity day was held at the Leeton course last year, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Gralee School.
It will return again this year thanks to Climate Technologies and Leeton course staff and volunteers that have been busily preparing for the unique concept.
Leeton course professional Jason Mimmo said the idea was to not only have fun playing golf in a social atmosphere, but also to generate funding for the school.
“This will be on top of the promotion (from Climate Technologies) where they donate $100 from every air-conditioner sold,” he said.
“From what I’m led to believe it’s a sizeable amount this year, so anything we can do to add to that will be fantastic.”
Mr Mimmo said the concept of the day allowed for players of all abilities to take part.
“The holes will be about eight inches across,” he said.
“We’ve already got 100 booked in.
“You can turn up on the day, but bookings are preferred.
“The best part of this is it’s 18 holes, but it goes much quicker.
“The holes are bigger, you don’t have to take the flag out, and everyone’s out to have a bit of fun.”
An array of prizes will also be on offer, with food and drink available throughout the day.
Registrations will be from 9.30am on Sunday, with players teeing off at 10am.
