About 9.50pm on Saturday police detected a vehicle travelling at that speed on Brobenah Road.
The motorist was stopped and the driver identified as an 18-year-old male on his red p-plates. He was issued with an infringement notice for exceeding speed over 45km/h and his license was suspended.
In a separate incdient, about 12.30am police stopped a vehicle being driven by a 23-year-old woman on Railway Avenue. Police said she returned a positive road side reading and was arrested and taken to the Leeton police station.
The woman underwent a breath analysis that returned a reading of 0.016. She was issued a notice to appear at Leeton Local Court for novice range PCA and driving while suspended.
