The ballet and revue category is typically the discipline that attracts the most number of entries, as well as the biggest crowds.
This year was no different, with dancers coming from near and far to take part.
As well as the dancers giving their all, their costumes were also something to behold.
Competitors of differing ages and from a variety of dance schools in the region all took to the stage in the many categories.
There were the traditional ballet dancers, teamed with tap, jazz, solos, group performances and categories that could be accompanied by a dancer also singing.
Throughout the discipline the adjudicator commented on the vast talent and urged competitors and their teachers to keep up the good work.
The ballet and revue discipline was held from August 21 to 28, with some dancers in featuring in the Sunrise weather cross last week before taking to the stage at the Roxy Theatre.
