Counting of votes by NSW Electoral Commission staff began at 6pm last night and will continue today.
This year there were 15 candidates to choose from, with nine to be elected as councillors.
Mayor Paul Maytom has continued to receive the largest number of votes.

Results from the shire’s pre-poll voting station are yet to come through, but could do so later this afternoon.
