The average age is 13 with three dedicated leaders and meets at the airport.
Lessons include training in general aviation knowledge, drill for discipline, navigation, flying lessons and practice with with musical instruments.
Levels of acheivement are sought.
Camping for survival skills and special events to compete such as at a federal review are essential to their development.
This local squadron originally started in Leeton, but by agreement soon after, moved its meetings to the airport where meetings are held Friday nights, holiday times excluded.
The cadets meet in the original EFTS Training hall.
The Australian Air League is a registered charity, is run as a volunteer organization and does not receive any government funding.
We do need an influx of funds to especially enable the cadets to attend the coming Federal Review, which includes educational values of participation and competition.
Due to distance to the event taking place over the long weekend there is a need to camp overnight, which increases costs.
The review and camp is intended to provide leadership skills and instruction in various skills, including band to raise their overall knowledge and confidence.
All money raised from business or the community is spent on these Cadets who took the initiative to join.
The Leeton-Narrandera Air League would appreciate your helping the squadron with training and expenses.

Editorial raises questions
I AGREE wholeheartedly with your comment (editorial, The Irrigator, September 23) regarding the bum deal the farmers are getting.
They work for a whole year to produce their products, have to pay pickers and transport it to market.
They get the least profit for all their hard work.
Even ending up possibly losing money if the weather turns against them.
However, I would like to point out that the Farmers Market is not quite the guardian angle you paint them.
Firstly, they charge the stall holders $30 when compared with the Yanco Market, Griffith market, even the Salvos market last week all charge the Stall Holder $10.
I read they have a new head on the market committee.
He said he wants to grow it, making it bigger and better than ever.
So what's the first thing they do?
Put up their fee for a stall by another $5 to $35.
Now who's gauging the farmers they say they are trying to help?
They are already charging 300 per cent more than the markets mentioned now they want even more.
What is their justification for their charges let alone the increase?
Is it the council charging them a high fee to use our public park?
I doubt it.
If they can show just cause, I will be the first to apologise for doubting them.

Yay: To Leeton business owners trying new things to keep customers coming back for me. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
