This year entrants in the flower show will have the opportunity to be named the overall champion, but the catch is participants will need to enter at both the St Peter’s and St Andrew’s Presbyterian fetes to be considered.
A sizeable prize is on offer and Father Robert Murphy encouraged residents to take part. He said this year’s St Peter’s fete was shaping up to be top notch.
“There will be entertainment from the Leeton Public dance group and the Leeton Town Band, as well as a jumping castle, sidewalk cafe, and the best jam and cakes in the shire will be for sale,” Fr Robert said.
The fete and flower show will be held at St Peter’s on Saturday from 9am.
