Throughout December, the Lions train will visit homes and businesses in the Leeton area that have taken the effort to decorate their property with coloured lights.
The first official tour will be held on December 6, following the Light Up Leeton Christmas Carnival on December 4.
Club president Brian Collins said the train ride was the perfect way to view the town’s festive lights.
“If residents of Leeton wish to view the lights without the pressure of driving a vehicle around they can book onto the Lions train,” he said. “Light tours will only be available on specific nights and each trip will be limited to 30 people”
“Late bookings will be subject to room being available on the train, so it is suggested if you are interested in jumping aboard then you get in and reserve your seats.” Cost is $5 per head, with the train to depart the bus stop at the Leeton Market Plaza each night a tour is held.
