The organisation will hold its annual carnival on Saturday where residents, for a small fee, can try their hand at winning a tasty ham for their festive feast. Money raised on the day goes towards buying supplies and resources for Yanco Public School.
Club member Sue Parker urged residents from across the shire to attend. “The community look forward to this time of year as it has a special meaning to a lot of people,” she said. “It’s a time of giving and sharing and we enjoy being able to support the community in this way.”
The hams carnival will be held at Waring Park in Yanco from 6pm, with Santa Claus set to make a guest appearance.
