Unknown offenders ransacked an apartment above the business sometime between 8pm on Friday and 9am on Tuesday.
The amount of damage resulted in water leaking through the roof to the business below.
“Those occupants of the apartment weren’t there at the time, but it’s created a big mess,” Chief Inspector John Wadsworth said.
“Our inquiries are continuing.”
Police are also investigating another break and enter at a property in Telopea Street, which occurred between 9am Monday and 9am on Tuesday.
A dirt bike, electrical tool set, chainsaw and fishing gear were all stolen from a shed located at the property. Residents that can assist the investigation should contact police with any information.
