Stoll is a physiotherapist in town and has had a love of cricket since she was a young girl.
Last week she was able to combine the two passions when she was the head physiotherapist for the NSW Women’s Country Cricket team.
The side was playing in the Australian Country Cricket Championships at Wollongong and finished third.
“The semi was a bit heart-breaking, we lost on the last ball,” Stoll said.
“I loved the experience. It was completely different from what I’m used to doing. I’d love to do it again if the change was there again next year.”
Stoll is also an assistant coach with the Riverina female cricket academy and was able to gain plenty of tips from the NSW coaches during the competition.
“I picked up lots of things that I’ll be able to use in that role,” she said.
Stoll along with David Tiffin are hoping to establish a women’s cricket competition in Leeton this year.
“It will be for all girls of all abilities,” she said.
“I started playing when I was in kinder and fell in love with it.”
