In recent weeks police have received a number of calls about groups of young people out late at night that are disrupting those around them.
The youths have been spotted by residents drinking in Mountford Park, which is an alcohol-free area, as well as congregating with their vehicles and playing loud music.
Police issued a group move on order to one group last weekend. About 1am officers were forced to give a similar directive to a group on Palm Avenue East.
“One of those in the group appeared to have been in a scuffle and there had been reports of the young group being disruptive,” Inspector Kim Traynor from the Griffith Local Area Command said.
“Police asked them to move on and they compiled.”
