Monday night had Smashes beat Serves 2-1. Serves’ only winner was Michelle Quinlivan who defeated Ian Draper 3-0. Miranda Tait beat Jade Jennings 3-1 and Brian O’Leary beat Jason Mimmo 3-0.
Hot Shots got over Hand Outs 2-1. Will Rawle was Hand Outs only winner beating sub Emily Jennings in a tough five-set match, 3-2. Matt Piper was too good for Roy Bandy winning 3-1 and and David Cross was too strong for Phil Ives, winning 3-0.
Aces won 2-1 over Volleys. Zac Fairweather won 3-0 over Raymond Walton and Ruth Tait won 3-1 over Matt Boots. Maanu Alexander was the only winner for Volleys, beating Mark Jennings 3-1.
Tuesday night and Drop Shots beat Drives 3-1.Narelle Ryan beat Sarah McAlice 3-2, and Liam Ryan beat Keira Brettschnider 3-1. Scott Quinlivan found some form and won 3-0 over Cooper Boardman. Kieren O’Callaghan was the only winner for Drives, beating sub Matt Boots 3-0.
Backhands beat Boast 3-1. Boasts’ only winner was Naomi Rawle, who got her 1st ever win beating Simone Bruno in a very tough four-set match, 3-1. Stuart McVittie won 3-1 over Declan Ryan , Sean Ryan won 3-1 over Emily Lyons and Chris Billingham was too good for Sarah Quinlivan winning 3-0.
Lobs beat Forehands 3-1 with Kim Weller winning a great 5 set match 3-2 over Tahlia Taylor. Matt Collins won 3-0 over Rod Tait, and Sub David Cross won 3-1 over Col Thompson. Forehands only winner was Ben Elwin who won a great five-set match 3-2 over Siarne Deeves.
Wednesday night had Penalties win 3-1 over Nicks. Nicks only winner was Emily Jennings who won 3-0 over Shelly Day. Mason Boardman won 3-1 over new recruit Garry “Wrecker” Thompson, Esther Deeves won 3-0 over Ian Alexander, and Trevor Whitby was too good for Rob Hanlon winning 3-1.
Miss Hits were too good for Rallies, winning 3-1. Marg Eckley won 3-0 over over Annette Morey, Anthony Iannelli beat Leah Shelton 3-0, and sub Stuart won a sea-sawing battle 3-2 over Carol Davidson, who actually scored more points, 67-59. Current club champion Matthew Dunn was too good for Tony Naimo, winning 3-1.
