The Barellan Masters Games get underway on Friday night and continue through to Sunday at the home of world famous tennis player Evonne Goolagong Cawley.
This year’s games feature 10 sports, with all proceeds going back into the community.
Since its inception, the games have donated $40,000 to the town to assist in new infrastructure and aiding community groups.
“With every sport having different minimum age requirements there is no reason to think that you’re too old,” games publicity officer Carl Chirgwin said.
The weekend kick starts on Friday night with barefoot bowls and mixed tennis, then continues on Saturday. All will roll up again on Sunday for the triathlon, netball and six-a-side cricket.
There will also be entertainment on Saturday night.
It’s never too late to participate, with registrations being taken at www.barellanmastersgames.com.au.
