The club will hold a garage sale on Saturday in conjunction with its monthly cash-a-can collection day. Club president Brian Collins encouraged the community to take part.
“Our club was given a number of items from a garage we had recently cleaned up, so we decided to sell them,” he said.
“Members of the club have also decided to take the opportunity to clear out some of their bits and pieces. Any profits will go towards the refurbishment of our Lions train.
“It will also be an opportunity for people to dispose of their aluminium cans they have built up over the festive period.” The event will be held at the Lions Den in Market Street next to the Leeton Volunteer Rescue Association headquarters from noon on Saturday.
