Police from Griffith Local Area Command found the 67 cannabis plants with an estimated value of $134 000 on a property at Merungle Hill on Tuesday.
About 2.45pm police attended the property where they executed a search warrant and located the plants growing in bushland.
A 77-year-old male attended the property after being contacted by police and he was subsequently arrested. He was been charged with cultivate prohibited plant and bailed to appear at Leeton Local Court on May 8.
The latest discovery of cannabis being grown in the shire comes after a huge bust last month at Colinroobie, just outside of Leeton, which located plants with a street value of $5 million. Three men were arrested.
