THE men’s pennant teams travelled away last weekend with the fours and sixes beaten by Hay by very close margins in Hay, and the fives travelling to Griffith and being defeated by the home side.

The last round of the Community Barefoot Bowls competition was held on Tuesday with the overall tournament winners being Mufflers who defeated Radio Cabs on the night. Other winners were Ferrets 1 d Ferret 2, Leeton Physio d LMCC, Bolto’s d Waterboys, A Decent Name d Police and Brags d Brad Naylor Plumbing.

The Carton went to Leeton Physio, the Keno won by Waterboys and the jackpot was finally won by Brags.

The bowler/non bowlers tournament is Friday, March 24 at 7pm. The cost is $10 per head which includes a barbecue dinner. Nominations for the Men’s Singles are on the board and close March 31.
