Rob Hanlon had an awesome 5 set win over Jacob Harrison, with both players fighting to the end of the 5th set.
Ian Alexander won a very hard fought 3-1 battle against sub Kira Brettschnider. Sharks only winner was Anthony Iannelli who won 3-1 against Kira Brettschnider.
Bronco’s beat Storm 2-1. Declan Ryan got the upper hand on Mason Boardman, winning 3-1. In what was the match of the night, if not the week, sub Liam Ryan won a thrilling 5 set match against Carol Davidson.
Going game for game, the 5th set was the decider, with both players pushing each other to the limit. Ryan eventually won in 3-2, with both players scoring 68 points.
Mathew Dunn was the only winner for Storm, winning 3-0 against Jack Quinlivan.
Cowboys defeated Roosters 2-1. Ben Elwin had to work hard for his win against Siarne Deeves, eventually winning 3-2.
Ian Draper won a tough 4 set match, 3-1, against sub Byron Warr.
Roosters only winner was Trevor Whitby, who won on a forfeit against an injured Chris Billingham.
Tuesday night kicked off with Hawks beating Bulldogs 2-1.
Liam Ryan won 3-0 against sub Kira Brettschnider and Marg Eckley showed her experience in defeating our newest junior, Dakota Boardman 3-0.
Bulldogs only winner was Zac Fairweather who took care of Emily Jennings 3-0, including 2 long games.
Swans defeated Dockers 2-1. Stuart McVittie won a very tough 4 set match against Erin Draper. McVittie won 3-1, but only managed to score 8 more points than Draper.
Miranda Tait won 3-0 against sub Johannes Kule. Dockers only winner was the ever improving Naomi Rawle who had a very dominant performance against Simone Bruno, winning 3-0.
Tigers beat Cats 2-1. Jason Curry was far too good for Byron Warr, winning 3-0. Callum Ryan followed the lead of Curry, defeating Jade Jennings 3-0.
The only winner for Cats was Sarah McAlice, who won a very tough 4 set match against sub Naomi Rawle, 3-1.
