Wednesday night Squash kicked off with Reds defeating Brumbies 2-1. Mark Jennings showed no mercy, defeating Kieran O’Callaghan 3-0. Rod Tait had his hands full, defeating Ryan Mahalm in a very tough 3-1 match. Cooper Boardman was the only winner for Brumbies, beating Macauley Harrison 3-0. Waratahs flogged Crusaders 3-0. Sarah Quinlivan was extremely lucky in her 5 set, 3-2 win over Maanu Alexander. Alexander shocked Quinlivan wining the 1st game. Quinlivan fought back to win the next 2, but Alexander then won the 4th. Quinlivan proved to be too strong, winning the 5th to take the match. Jackson Goman defeated Emily Lyons 3-1. Matt Piper followed suit to defeat Michelle Quinlivan in a tough 3-1 battle.

Rebels defeated Highlanders 2-1. Bryan Shepley proved once again that experience beats youth, defeating sub Maanu Alexander 3-0. Chris Doolin had a tough battle with sub Brent Lister, winning 3-1. Matt Collins was the only winner for Highlanders, beating Brent Lister 3-0.
Thursday night had some great battles with Wanderers defeating Roar 2-1. Brian O’Leary defeated Marcelle Steele in a great 4 set battle, 3-1. Sub Sarah McAliece shocked Johannes Kulle, defeating Kulle 3-1. Wanderers only winner, Blayne Thompson took care of Will Rawle in a very tight 4 set match, 3-1.
Mariners got the win, 2-1 over Victory. Maanu Alexander had his work cut out for him against Col Thompson. Alexander got the win in 3-1, but Thompson was only 5 points behind in total. Angelo Fiumara dominated yet again, beating Dion DeMamiel 3-0. Victory’s only win came from David Croucamp, defeating Kelsey Deeves 3-1. Glory got the win 2-1 over Phoenix. David Cross dominated Sean Ryan, winning 3-0. In what was the upset of the night, sub Callum Ryan played some of the best squash he has ever played against a hard charging Leah Shelton. Levelled at 2 games each, Ryan dug deep and fought for every point to win the 5th game, and the match.
The next upset of the night was Kim Weller defeating the very experienced and dominant Trish Fletcher. In what was a long, tough battle, both ladies gave it everything they had. Locked at 2 games all, Weller was lucky to edge out Fletcher in the 5th to win the match
