Down 4-1 at half time, South Wagga staged a comeback, finishing with a respectable result to the top-four team.
“I said to them, ‘I don’t care if we win, lose or draw, I don’t want us to put our heads down,’” South Wagga veteran Andrew Hull said.
“Our striker, Nazar (Yousif), worked his guts out in the second half and it paid off.”
Leeton made a great first impression on Hull.
“They had a good plan of attack,” he said.
“The way they move the ball around is really good, their defenders come forward to attack.”
