Private school funding
The amount of money the federal government gives to the very wealthy private schools, I mean the really wealthy ones, not the Catholic schools, is disgusting.

These wealthy private schools end up far better off than the public schools, so there must be something wrong.
Many of are so wealthy they can afford to run their own fleets of buses.
These schools all sit on vast amounts of very valuable real estate in prime locations which they don’t need.
They could easily flog off some of their land, worth at least $5m an acre I would assume.
If they need money, or they could build multi-storey blocks of home units on part of the land, rent them out, and the rent itself would generate millions of dollars a year.
That is the economic rationalist solution.
I understand one wealthy school in Sydney is getting an extra $35m.
There would be many parents sending their kids to that school who could write a cheque for that much and regard it as petty cash if the school went to them cap in hand asked them.
I thought the age of entitlement was over?
The Liberals and their supporters complain about the Labor Party creating class warfare.
It's the Liberals who create the class warfare.
With this kind of policy have you wondered why the Liberals are behind in the polls?

Joining the living and the dead
I would hate to think I know nothing of people I love and grew up with being deceased without my knowledge.
I know perhaps Graham Blight and Ken Carroll are deceased.
What about the Ferret Brian Troy, Bernie Carroll, Vincent Bruno, Gary (Darby) Munro, Greg (Gus) Bowyer, Pat Cassone, Jim Kidman, Bill Mitchell, and Fr Schipp last known Narrandera.
I know my cousin (Catherine Dawe) and sister (Suzanne Hughes, Yanco Avenue) are alive.
I regularly keep contact with Joey Mitchell who lives in my suburb of Abbotsford.
I miss greatly the demise last year of my confessor partner Fr Raphael Beltrame, but maintain my faith through a Sacred Heart missionary, Paul Stenhouse, at Kensington.
WRITE TO ME IF YOU OR YOUR RELATIVES ARE ALIVE!
Write anyway because I love you all.
