The two schools have long supported students in the East Timor district of Luro.
Currently, Luro schools only provide education to a year 9 level.
To attend senior classes, students have to attend residential schools away from home.
Both schools have paid for a number of students to complete not just their secondary classes, but also their accommodation for that time.
Both boys and girls in Luro have had the opportunity, with the schools fundraising to cover the costs.
Leeton has long had a link with East Timor through its Friends of Luro group.
Residents interested in the organisation should contact Mary McPhee, George Weston, Eric Hudson or visit www.friendsofluro.org.
