MEN’S: Saturday's golf was a novelty event with a Bisque Par being played. The A Grade winner, in Grahme Fitzsimon, was serious however, with an age beating 73 off the stick to record +10 to win by three from Les Dedini.

B Grade winner was Jim Pilkington with +7 by one from Ray Pluis with +6 in a countback.
NTP's went to Pilkington, Col Tuckett, Steve Hottes and Tony Nardi, whilst the Drive and Chips went to John Kellahan, Nardi and Paul Morris. The ball comp went out to newcomer Adam O'Callaghan with +3.
This week's event is the Club 4B Championships over Saturday and Sunday.
Wednesday's Whackers continued with the run of average scores winning the day. This week it was Geoff McKenzies 37 points enough to get home from 'the long fellah' in a countback. Apparently TLF has offered to give younger brother Owen a few tips, however the offer was declined.
NTP's went to Jason Nardi, Bert Dale and Anthony Rudd whilst the ball comp went down to Glen Saddler with 35 in a countback, having got a bit of direction back in his driving.
The Pro escaped unscathed again, with his 37 points again resulting in a payout of zilch balls.
Monday's event is R1 of the Winter Championships, and the Captain for the day is Gary Nolan.
YANCO: Social golfers played a 4BBB multiplier on the weekend. Winners were Richard Damian and Nick Rendina on 58. Runners-up were Viv Burton and Serena Jablonskis on 48 points.
Nearest the pins went to Brian Southgate (4th), Shayne Smith (6th, 15th) and Damian (13th).
Open drive and chip went to Jamie Brown on the 7th. Ball comp winners were Smith and Ron Broadrick on 45. This Sunday is a secret nine stableford.
