The undefeated Leeton side will provide a core group of players for the Brumbies Provincial team that will face NSW Country in Canberra on Saturday.
Seven of the eight Leeton players selected for the Southern Inland representative side at last weekend's Brumbies provincial tournament - Sai Ratudradra, Joe Kafoa-Pene, Simon Vunilagi, Noa Rabici, Siti Watkins, Joe Ratu and Nathan Batina – have been given the nod.
SIRU played a combined Monaro-South Coast outfit at the tournament, which is used as selection for the Brumbies Provincial side.
Ratu scored three tries in the hit-out, with Watkins contributing one.
Batina was one of the stars for Southern Inland against the combined unit.
Coming in under an injury cloud, the Leeton fullback put on a dazzling display from the back.
Leeton assistant coach Seru Rogo has also been named the Brumbies Provincial assistant coach.
There is another bye in the SIRU draw this week to allow for the representative match. The season will recommence on June 24 with Leeton having the first of consecutive home games.
Other SIRU players in the Brumbies Provincial team are: Tom Macleay, Cam Duffy (Ag College), Austin Wallace, Tom Hallam (Waratahs), James Devlin (Albury), Nathan Seymour, Stu Dyer (Wagga City), Chris Latu (Griffith), Josef Glamuzina (Tumut)
