SATURDAY men played round one of 4BBB championships sponsored by Lorna Robinson and Leo Plant . Winners were Kelvin Green and Eric Hudson, 59, and runners up were Mick Burton and Jamie Brown, 60 on a countback. Pins on the 4th were Anthony Rudd 6th Tim Cummins 13th Col Tuckett 15th Nathan Cassilles.
Drive and chip A grade Aaron Dale B grade T Nardi, ball comp went to 62.
Sunday round two winners were Frank Mercuri and Gordon Smith, 53, and runners up Anthony Rudd and Jack Howe 61. Pins were 4th Scott Turner 13th Eric Hudson 15th Anthony Rudd, ball comp went to 64 on a countback.
4BBB scratch winners were Scott Turner and John Kellahan, 135, and handicap winners were Frank Mercuri and Gordon Smith, 113.
Wednesday wackers’ winner was Graham Fitzsimon with a fine 40 points runner up was Aaron Dale with 39 points on a countback. Ball comp went to 39 points.
WOMEN’S
LAST Wednesday ladies played a stroke event sponsored by Irrigation Specialist, winner was Bev Fitzsimon 69 nett and runner up Lyn Wood 71 nett.
Ladies had to count there putts and A grade winner was Janelle Sullivan B grade Bev Fitzsimon 31 C grade Elaine Henman 28 putts.
Saturday’s competition was a stabelford sponsored by Breed and Hutchins A grade winner was Janelle Sullivan, 37 points.
Runner-up was Susan Reid, 36 on a countback.
B grade winner was Helen Webb, 40 points, and runner-up Elaine Henman 37 points.
Pins were 4th Penny Hudson 13th Janelle Sullivan 15th Viv Burton, ball comp went to 36 points on a countback.
