The organisation raised about $1000 during its recent garage sale, which was held at the Maple Street headquarters.
Many residents were on hand to pick up a bargain.
Leeton Salvation Army Captain Wendy-Sue Swann was pleased with the response.
“The money raised goes directly back to our programs,” she said.
“We were really happy with the result and it gave us another chance to connect with the community, let them know we’re here and what our services are.” Items for the sale were donated from near and far.
The organisation now plans to hold the sale at least four times a year in Leeton.
