Squeeky had a 3-1 win over Hams with wins to Ruth Tait, Michelle Quinlivan and Jack Quinlivan. The only win for Ham was Kim Weller over newcomer Brianna Gray Mills in a tight match. Woody defeated T-Rex with Trish Fletcher def Naomi Rawle 3-0, Danny Boardman def Carol Davidson 3-0, and Chris Billingham defeating Jacob Harrison 3-2. The only respectability for T-Rex came from a win by Rod Tait over sub Liam Ryan.
A close encounter between Electricians and Builders. Builders Trevor Whitby def Col Thompson, Allen Rodrigues losing to Jackson Goman, Gary Thompson defeted by Siarne Deeves in a 2-3 thriller and Simone Bruno def Tayah Preston 3-1. Builders winning on a countback.
Plumbers defeated Mechanics, decided on games, with Naomi Rawle losing to Dakota Boardman, Blayne Thompson defeating Ben Elwin, Scott Quinlivan defeating sub Michelle Quinlivan and Ryan Thurgood losing to Macauley Harrison.
Tilers defeated Brickies. Tahlia Taylor’s experience came into play defeating newcomer Teneal Preston-Warr. Dion DeMamiel again in a five-setter was defeated by William Rawle and Emily Lyons defeated Sean Ryan. No dream introduction for Maanu Alexander’s the A2s with Tony Naimo winning 0-3.
Thursday night Turtles and Pythons took to the court. Pythons only scraping through with a one game win for the night. Marcelle Steele lost to sub Jackson Goman 1-3, Mason Boardman lost to Anthony Iannelli 1-3 but Pythons Callum Ryan and Leah shelton brought home the prize.
Panthers defeated Kangaroos 3 -1 with wins to Johannes Kulle over Miranda Tait, Zac Fairweather over Matt Lynch and Brian O’Leary over Bryan Shepley. The only win for Kangaroos going to Angelo Fiumara.
Lions defeated Bears 3-1 with wins to David Croucamp Jason Curry and David Cross over sub Miranda Tait, Byron Warr and Jason Mimmo. A strong win to Kelsey Deeves over David Shelton gave Bears some respectability.
