In top conditions at No. 1 Oval, the home side recorded a 42-10 win, which continues to cement their place on the women’s sevens ladder.
The Leeton side is currently second behind the CSU Reddies, who they are coming up against on July 8.
In the mean time their attention is firmly focused on another Wagga side in the Waratahs, who they will be facing off with on Saturday afternoon.
The Waratahs have been a formidable side so far this season and coach Andrew Reilly will be making sure the Dianas are aware of this.
At their advantage is another home game, which should prove fruitful, with the Dianas experts at controlling the ball on their home turf.
Adding to the atmosphere on Saturday will be Ladies Day where the women will settle in to watch the top-of-the-table clash in first grade.
