THE result may not have gone the way of the Crows A grade side, but there was plenty to be excited about. ‘

The team went down by 10 goals to the Wagga Tigers last weekend, but co-coach Libby Gillespie was impressed with the performance put in.

“I thought the girls played really well … they had very clean passages of play, which is something we have been working hard on,” she said.

A grade has picked up a new player in Taylah Mentha, who has provided an added boost to the defensive end of the court.

“I thought our shooting was much more accurate on the weekend … Taya Crockford and Grace Korovata combined well,” Gillespie said. The Crows will be up against the Demons this weekend, who are yet to lose a game in A grade.
