IN WEEK four of winter squash comp Woodies thwarted Squeakies finishing 4-0 in matches with Chris Billingham, Matt Collins, Danny Boardman and Trish Fletcher defeating opponents Jack Quinlivan, Michelle Quinlivan, Ruth Tait and Brianna Gray-Mills. Slinkies proved too strong for T-Rex with T-Rex only taking out one match. Slinkies Mat Dunn defeated Jacob Harrison, Declan Ryan defeated Carol Davidson 3-2 and Sarah McAliece defeating Naomi Rawle. A close one for Hamm’s and Potato Heads finishing 2-2 with the win decided by bonus points to Hamms.

On Wednesday Tilers defeated Mechanics three matches to one with wins to Emily Lyons, Dion DeMamiel and Tahlia Taylor over Sub Matt Collins, Ben Elwin and Dakota Boardman. Mechanics only win was by Captain Macauley Harrison over Maanu Alexander.
Electricians and Brickies were tied at the end of the night but subs proved the difference for the Brickies, taking the Points. Competitive results by sub players for the Builders helped their team to the win over the Plumbers. Builders’ Blayne Thompson defeated Siarne Deeves 3-0 and Naomi Rawle defeated Tayah Preston 3-0 whilst subs Sarah Quinlivan and Declan Ryan took a game or two off their opponents Col Thompson and sub Danny Boardman for their teams’ win.
Thursday night, Panthers defeated Bears 3-1 with Panthers Brian O’Leary defeating Jason Mimmo 3-1, Kira Brettschneider defeating sub Will Rawle 3-2 and sub Trish Fletcher having a great win over Kelsey Deeves 3-0. Emily Jennings getting a match for the Bears in her win over sub Daniel Shelton.
Tied at two-all, the Turtles and Lions results were determined by games won with the Turtles taking the honours 9-8. Turtles captain Sarah Quinlivan defeating David Cross 3-0 and sub Sarah McAliece putting in a great effort to defeat Daniel Shelton 3-2. Lions’ wins to Jason Curry and David Croucamp defeating opponents Anthony Iannelli and Jade Jennings.
Final results for Thursday night saw the Kangaroos defeat the Pythons 3-1 with good wins by Bryan Shepley defeating Marcelle Steele 3-0, Angelo Fiumara over Mason Boardman 3-0 and Miranda Tait over Leah Smith 3-2. Callum Ryan, a valuable asset for the Pythons defeated Matt Lynch 3-0.
