Sunday marked six years since the Hydro Tavern was burned down on July 16, 2011.
While no one ever faced arson charges in court, the pub was believed by police to be deliberately burned down.
For those up and about during the early hours of that morning six years ago, the fire was gut wrenching, with flames completely destroying the pub many in town had an infinity with.
There was also an adjoining bottle shop next to the pub that was affected.
It re-opened two years after the blaze, but eventually closed.
In more recent times the land the pub stood on was sold to local business owner Anthony Boots.
The area has now been filled in and made much more presentable, with future plans in the works.
The remains of the burned pub were standing for many years after the fire and often drew criticism for its “ugly” presence in the centre of Leeton.
