First and second grade both enjoyed wins in the men’s competition, while the Dianas also recorded a victory over the Steamers.
Phantoms president Bart Challacombe said there was more good news for the club.
“We’ve wrapped up the club championship now with one round still to be played in the home and away season,” he said.
“That’s fantastic news for us.
“Of course it would be great to get those individual team premierships as well, but the club championship does mean a lot to us.”
The Phantoms easily accounted for Albury in first grade, 59-20 as they also wrapped up the minor premiership with one game remaining before finals.
Leeton winger Joe Ratu crossed for four tries in a game for the fourth time this season as the Phantoms steamrolled Albury on Saturday.
Extending their unbeaten run to a perfect 13 from 13 this season, Leeton took a 59-20 victory away from Murrayfield.
Ratu also added to his lead at the top of the Southern Inland tryscorers list.
He’s scored 25 tries so far this season, including four against Ag College twice plus Griffith last week, and is seven clear of Wagga City’s Keifer Power.
“He’s (Joe) been very good for … it’s unbelievable how well he plays,” Challacombe said.
There were some injury concerns for the Phantoms on Saturday, with Dennis Feagai hurting his knee and Tino Simeti came off after a nasty head clash.
“I think with Dennis he should be okay … Tino may have to sit out this week so he’s right for finals,” Challacombe said.
Second grade also had another solid win, taking out the Steamers 43-7, while the Dianas won 50-0.
The win for the seconds still has them sitting fourth, but another victory on Saturday over the first-placed Wagga City could see them climb higher.
Saturday’s home match against Wagga City will be a charity round to raise money for Country Hope.
With the weather looking picture perfect, supporters have been urged to attend.
