Leeton Shire Council has placed its draft playground strategy for 2017 to 2032 on public display for the community to provide their thoughts on.
The plan has been developed to guide all aspects of council’s playground management focusing on the key areas of community expectations, delivering fun and safe playgrounds and financial sustainability of council’s playground network.
Mayor Paul Maytom welcomed the new strategy.
“The proposed strategy clearly sets out how council will manage its playground network for the next 15 years and includes an action plan specifying what will be done at each playground and in what year,” he said.
The plan is available to view on council’s website.
