The 19-year-old was driving a Holden Commodore on Brobenah Road about 2.35pm on Monday when he was stopped by police.
Checks by the officers found he had a suspended licence.
The man was issued with a field court attendance notice to appear in Griffith Local Court.

A VEHICLE owner received a nasty surprise earlier this week.
The owner of a grey station wagon found the back window of their vehicle had been smashed while it was parked in Leeton’s Dooley Lane.
The incident happened in broad daylight about 10.15am on Monday.
