Muir kicked eight goals in a dominant best-on-ground display as Leeton-Whitton proved far too good for the neighbours, 25.22 (172) to 4.3 (27) at Leeton Showground.
Muir kicked 8.8 in a big day out, while young guns Jayden Lehman, Jameson Booth and Tyh Evans also impressed in the Crows’ victory.
Leeton-Whitton coach Jade Hodge said the Crows were very good after half-time.
“I was half disappointed at half-time, even though we were up by 50 odd points, we had turned the footy over a bit and they were rebounding it from our forward 50 a little bit easy. Our forward pressure was down,” Hodge said.
“Credit to the boys, I questioned them at half-time and they came out and responded. We stuck to our structures after half-time and played some really good footy, which was pleasing.”
Drew Kenna and Reece Hutton were best for Narrandera.
