Get ready for what many would argue is the best day of the school calendar year.
Wristbands for unlimited rides are available for purchase right now from the front office for $35.
Given that the rides are $8 each, these will pay for themselves in the first hour.

THE Leeton Eisteddfod is bringing out the best in the LHS performing artists, with the vocalists opening the account with two firsts and two seconds from five attempts.

THERE has been improved attendance at LHS and responses from students and parents respectively.
The school is always trying to improve its monitoring of attendance and are now dispatching SMS messages around 11am every morning.
Parents can text their response regarding their child’s absence and it will be amended on the official roll.

THE under 15s girls are dominating on the courts, progressing to the pointy end of CHS netball and basketball competitions.

A MESSAGE to the parents of the class of 2023 that enrolment forms are due to in the next fortnight.
If anyone has misplaced their enrolment pack, or attends a non-government school, please come to the front office and collect the paperwork.

THE Leeton High School under 15 girls basketball team recently competed in a Riverina Gala Day at Narrandera.
Their first game was against Griffith High School, which was a tough game.
Leeton High eventually came away in the last quarter to win 36-22.
Another win against Temora High School put Leeton High in the grand final against Narrandera High School, with LHS having a convincing win 48-24.
After being undefeated on the day, Leeton High will now represent Riverina and progress to the CHS State knockout.

THIS term year 12 future university students participated in an “apply for uni” workshop presented by Careers Central.
All the students successfully completed their applications, including scholarship applications as well. We wish them all the best and hope they all receive their first preferences.

ANY student who would like some assistance with their resume are welcome to call into careers central to pick up a resume template and a how to guide for writing a cover letter.
Having a current up to date resume is vital for anyone that will be seeking employment in the near future.
