The two-year-old returns as a gelding and is one of the top shots in the Hurrikane Kingcole 2YO Pace (1755m) at Lin Gordon Paceway.
Coming off two trial wins, reinsman Reece Maguire is confident of a better showing than his sixth in Leeton’s richest race in January.
“He should run a pretty good race,” Maguire said.
“We had him gelding since then and found he had some hernias when he lost his nuts and he might have been a bit sore.
“Leading into the Plate he was pacing very well and come to the heat he hitched and skitched a little bit, even though he still went good, and in the final he was worst again.”
However it hasn’t been a problem this time around.
“He’s come along very nice,” Maguire said.
