The Irrigator has switched on a new-look website at irrigator.com.au.
Leeton’s own newspaper since 1915, The Irrigator website is now faster to load and easier to read on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
Purpose-built to provide a regular “feed” of your favourite local news, sport, community information and opinion, the site is optimised for viewing on any device so you can follow Leeton news on the go, wherever you are.
The refreshed digital design is sleek and uncluttered and the website’s new streamlined functions make it easy to navigate.
The site’s new advertiser opportunities allow local businesses to reach irrigator.com.au’s growing online audience.
The digital-first publishing technology used by The Irrigator since 2015 is at the forefront of newspaper and website production worldwide.
South-West NSW group managing editor Paul McLoughlin said the revamped irrigator.com.au would continue to provide a proudly local perspective on Leeton’s people, places, issues and events.
“We’ve changed the way we present and publish news for our growing digital audience,” Mr McLoughlin said.
“But our commitment to providing your favourite local reading isn’t changing, including coverage of important community issues and events.”
Visitors to irrigator.com.au can submit local sports results and letters to the editor, place an advertisement and read the classifieds.
The print edition of The Irrigator is published Tuesday and Friday.
The cover price of the newspaper remains unchanged.
