Four students also qualified for the NSWPSSA Athletics Championships to be held at Sydney Olympic Park in October and there were a number of top 10 finishes on the day.
Shaylan Protheroe (13 years 100-metres) and Tamika Rourke (11 years girls shot put) were crowned Riverina champions in their events.
The senior girls relay team of Mikayla Bradshaw, Shaylan Protheroe, Tamika Rourke and Kristen Bradshaw produced a breath-taking run to finish second in their event (two tenths of a second behind the winners).
The team ran faster than any Parkview Relay team since 1986, stopping the clock 59.75. They will now try their luck at the state championships.
In more good news for the school, it has been crowned the champion overall sporting school in the Leeton-Narrandera PSSA for the second consecutive year.
Parkview was awarded the Ian Lucas Memorial Trophy at the recently completed LNPSSA Athletics Carnival.
The trophy acknowledges the school which accrues the most number of points at the major three LNPSSA carnivals throughout the year.
These are swimming, cross country and athletics) and is in relation to the number of children enrolled in their school.
