Sunrise over Leeton skies a top way to start the working week

AS MORNING rose over Leeton on Monday, so too did a sunrise, which was worth getting out of bed for.

Around 6am the skies turned brilliant shades of pink, purples and oranges before giving way to more blue and grey feel.

The sunrise was witnessed by many residents and if you captured the moment, send in your images to talia.pattison@fairfaxmedia.com.au or post them on our Facebook page

It’s looking like a typical spring week for Leeton shire in terms of the weather, with temperatures to be up and done over the next five days.

On Monday the forecast is tipping the mercury to hit 25 degrees, while Tuesday is expected to be even warmer at 28 degrees with a slight chance of a shower or two.

Temperatures are then expected to drop to 19 degrees on Wednesday, 16 on Thursday and 18 on Friday.
