Now known as the REA Leeton District Dressage, the club has returned to town with the help of the Leeton Jockey Club.
Their first competition is set down for Sunday, September 17 in the middle of the jockey club’s race track.
All residents have been invited to attend to watch and take in the action.
A canteen will be running all day with gourmet burgers and other tasty delights.
Club president Sarah Venamore was excited to be bringing the sport back to town and was hopeful it would continue to grow.
“We are thrilled with the response from the local community to help us establish the club,” she said.
“We owe a big thanks to many Leeton and regional businesses who have donated their time and product to enable us to have the facilities ready in such a short space of time.
“We are holding a saddlery sale on the Saturday, September 16 in the Leeton Jockey club car park to help raise funds for the club so we can continue to provide this valuable service for the horseriders in our area.”
Anyone interested in joining the club should contact Venamore for more details or head along on either Saturday or Sunday to find out more information at the Leeton Jockey Club.
