The Carrington Drive property was nearing completion when it was broken into between 4.50am and 5am on Friday.
Police were called after a resident noticed suspicious activity in the area of the property.
A large amount of expensive tools and drills were stolen as a result of the break-in.
It comes after a similar incident happened in Griffith earlier last week where five homes nearing locking up stage were ransacked in Zirilli Avenue.
However, Griffith Local Area Command Chief Inspector John Wadsworth said the two incidents were unrelated.
Residents who may have noticed anyone in the area at the time should contact police on 6953 1399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
