IN Leftovers against Purple People Eaters the first set saw Leftovers off to a strong start thanks to great serving by Liam Ryan and Linda Newman leading the way to a 25-15 win. Jodie Ward and Louis Johnstone worked hard for The Purple People Eaters, who had a few different players from the first round, but the second set resulted in the same score of a 25-15 win to Leftovers. Leftovers welcomed back Kyle Newman who along with Michael Hammond, dominated the court play in the third set. They were too strong winning the final set 25-9 and winning the match 3-0. Best players were Liam Ryan, Linda Newman and Jodie Ward.

The second match of the night was between Diggas With Attitude and Lethal Legends. Both teams had some excellent court play and long rallies were frequent across the match. Mitch Cross and Cath Gray served well all night for the Diggas as well as Alannah Hughes and Sean Ryan from the Lethal Legends. Lizette Taylor and Brianna Hughes from Lethal Legends improved as the match went on, but better court play from the Diggas proved the difference, thanks to new player Sally Cassilles, Kim Weller and Allen Rodrigues. It was a 3-0 win to Diggas With Attitude albeit close match with the scores 25-18, 25-18, 25-23. Best players were Alannah Hughes, Sally Cassilles and Lizette Taylor.
The final match for the night was between Hit Heads and Locals. Both teams started well with good serving and rallies throughout the game. Locals got out to a good lead thanks to strong serving by Paul Taavao and Meta Vetemotu. Declan Ryan and Lorraine Kefford tried hard all match for the Hit Heads, but with strong spiking from Faaleage Soli and Faasolo Tapuvae helped the locals to a dominating 25-13 win in the first set. Teala Howe improved her serving and court play for the Hit Heads in the second set, but again the experience of the locals was too strong and they went on to win 25-15. There third set was much the same again, good rallies but the Locals just too good finishing off points more consistently, helping them to win 25-12 and take out the match 3-0. Best players were Faaleage Soli, Paul Taavao and Teala Howe.
