It seems Leeton and Hay residents will no longer have to drive in to Griffith to renew their drivers licence, or apply for marriage certificates.

Deputy Premier and National Party leader John Barilaro announced four new Service NSW Centres would open in the electorate of Murray – in Hay, Leeton, Finley and Wentworth.
A new Service NSW Centre in Griffith was also officially opened.
Mr Barilaro made his third visit to Griffith in three months on Monday, to announce the Service NSW Centre openings and introduce the Nationals candidate for the Murray by-election, Murrumbidgee councillor Austin Evans.
“We want to give businesses and locals the convenience that comes with the fast and efficient delivery of government services, so residents don’t waste their time waiting in queues,” Mr Barilaro said.
Mr Barilaro denies the Nationals are only showing interest in the MIA because of the upcoming by-election.
“I commit that I will continue to fight for regional NSW beyond the by-election,” he said.
Mr Evans said he won’t let his leaders take the region for granted if he wins on October 14.
Mr Barilaro said, “regional NSW makes up 40 per cent of the NSW population and deserves to have equal access to essential services to those in metropolitan areas”.
“Today’s announcement means residents in regional towns across the Riverina will be able to bundle their transactions for Government Services – making it easier to renew a driver’s licence, access legal information or lodge a development proposal in the one spot,” he said.
Mr Barilaro said the new Service Centre in Griffith has already served more than 20,000 customers since it opened in March.
The new Griffith Service Centre, located at 12B Kooyoo Street, features six service counters, including a wheelchair accessible counter, self-serve kiosks, free Wi-Fi and driver knowledge testing for both cars and heavy vehicles.
