The school recently held its annual Book Week character parade, with many bright, creative and colourful costumes taking centre stage.
Students from kindergarten to year 6 all took part in the festivities, as well as those the young Little Learners participants.
“We encourage Yanco PS Little learners to be involved in as many events at the school as possible,” principal Tarnya Grigg said.
“Yanco PS students also celebrated a behaviour reward afternoon in week nine.
“All of our hard working students enjoyed a hot chips lunch followed by paddle pops and an afternoon of fun activities.
“Yanco PS students also thoroughly enjoyed themselves attending the Roxy Theatre and the Leeton shire library during Book Week.”
Students are now enjoying a well-deserved break as the holidays get underway before the final term starts.
