Blake came in and hit a solid 23 not out, while Charlie forced the running for quick twos and scored one run not out.
Charlie captained well, with carefully chosen fielding positions and thoughtful batting and bowling line ups.
It was an overall great team effort by all eleven players.
As usual, the Leeton Public School team was well supported on the day.
“A thank you to David Tiffin for continuing to coach the players each Friday afternoon,” assistant principal Catherine Tabain said.
“ Also thanks go out to Scott McDonald for removing the footy goal posts, setting up the field and umpiring on the day.
“Thank you to Mark Crittenden and the many parents for bringing over the Lake Albert boys, who were a challenging opposition and great sports on the day.”
Leeton Public School now move onto round six of the competition as one of the top 16 teams in the state.
They will play the winner of North Griffith and a school from the Bathurst area early in term four.
