Residents at the aged care facility have been busily preparing since January for the many and varied art sections at the Leeton Show.
Their entries are set to be judged and they are hoping to come away with the odd ribbon or two.
Residents have been participating in art classes and activities for most of the year.
Activities co-ordinator Tanisha Griggs said it helped to keep their minds and hands active.
“They have all been joining in during the year,” she said.
“Everyone has helped with the entries we are submitting to the show.
“I think it’s really good for them.
“They seem to look forward to the classes every week.
“We’ve encouraged the residents’ families to take them out this weekend to the show so they can see their work on display.”
Art fun will be continuing at Carramar, with residents also participating in numerous other activities, including an upcoming Melbourne Cup event.
