Branch Manager Chris Butler says cancer is a disease that affects everyone.
“We’re raising money because everyone is touched by cancer in some shape or form,
“It’s close to everyone’s heart at the end of the day.”
Every Friday, the staff at Yenda Producers in Leeton, Griffith and Yenda have been wearing pink in support of the organisation.
BBQs are being held across three different branches to raise money.
- Leeton, Friday October 20
- Yenda, Friday October 27
Company Secretary Anthony Nehme says the BBQ is an opportunity to come together.
“A BBQ lunch is a great way to have people gather around and catch up. The Prods is happy to provide this lunch for free, with a BBQ happening at each branch during October,” he said.
“Anyone who would like to contribute will be donating directly to the McGrath Foundation.”
In addition to the snags, a raffle will be drawn at the Yenda site on Friday October 27.
Mr Nehme says great prizes are on offer.
“Our raffle has been greatly supported by local businesses who have contributed excellent prizes.”
